She was invited to open for Cher and received another invitation from the Queen of England to sing. And guess who here manager is? Simon Cowell.

I was watching it whe it first came on and she even smirked after they all took a bit of a piss at her before she started singing and I thought "oh god another person up here for thier 15 minutes of fame" but did she ever dring the house down. I hope her the best. I personally feel her version of cry me a river was the best I have ever heard. I do have an elle cd and will re listen to it to verify.
Lots of good talent thought this year too so even if she doesn't win it all I am sure she will get her due.

Finally got around to listening to her.
Sensational.
Not a note out of place, she sang like somebody who had done the song on stage 100 times before.

I was wondering how long it would take for a Susan Boyle thread to pop up.
I think Simon was fully aware of her talent. They must have some kind of filtering auditions.
The "Cry Me a River" version is incredible! Not just notes but everything about her singing. Most professional singers don't have the control that seems to come naturally to her.

I'm soooo late to actually hearing her after becoming aware of the story.
All I can say is that I will never judge a book by its cover again, I am ashamed and inspired at the same time.
Wow...
