The JJ Maduro is a great cigar. I'm not that big of a fan of the natties though.

I don't mean any disrespect to those who enjoy this stick, but I smoked one about a week or so ago, toro sized, and found it extremely one dimentional. After about an hour it became boring and I tossed it. I found it to be disappointing for the brand and price.

Are you sure it was a JJ maduro and not a regular JJ? It is not a complex cigar by any means but I have found none of Pepins stuff is complex just flavorfull. The regular Serie JJ does absolutely nothing for me.

I'm certain it was a maduro.

Try once more with a selecto...someone else here had the Torpedo and didn't like it as much as the selecto. Maybe you just had a bad one? I swear I have had blues that were stronger with more flavor than others...who knows.

Had a robusto recently, I really enjoyed it. Only a little bit of variance throughout the stick, but it sure did taste good.
