Sports>John Madden finaly retires
chippewastud79 03:33 PM 04-16-2009
Thank God that he decided to finally hang it up, he has become increasingly tired over the past 5 years or so. I am so glad I can finally watch Sunday night football and the Super Bowl without having to turn the volume down. Also glad to see they have replaced him with Chris Collinsworth :-)

Thank God for small favors. He never shut up, and until some one stole that damn screen pen from him I hated watching Mon night football. I wanted to shove the damn pen where the sun doesn't shine. Anayzing is one thing, but he freaking micro ananlisysed each play down to pure boredom.... my .02

Enjoy your time off, JM. :-)
I always liked Mr. Madden.

Boy, 30 years,,,,,,,,,,,,you're gettin' old Joe. Maybe you should change your user name :-)

I'm going to miss him too. He's been a little off his game the past several years, but I think he's one of the greatest. I'm not sure how I feel about Collinsworth pairing with Michaels now. :-)
