I've searched the threads but I can't find any info regarding Diesel cigars. Online, CI still has a listing for the
Diesel Fuerte by Rocky Patel, but they show them as "
out of stock".
Does anyone have any information about this cigar, and if they know of somewhere they might be available? I'm personally not interested, but my oldest son who really enjoys the Camacho Triple Maduro was told by someone that he really needs to try a Diesel. And, so he came to me to see if I had any info for him on where he might find one.
I'd appreciate any info regarding the taste, strength and availabilty of these sticks.
Thanks!
:-)

I have not had them but I was passed a bunch almost 2 years ago because they were too strong for him (he likes RP Edge and stuff like that). I'll get a 5er+ out for your son on Monday!

Has anyone ever tried one of these? And if so, how were they? I have to admit, I'm sorta curious....

I ordered an RP sampler a while back and got 4 or 5 Diesels in the group. I tried one and the dye on the wrapper came off on my fingers as I smoked it. I gave the others away the next day at the airport.

Did you like the flavor of the cigar itself?

The name "Diesel" is kind of a turn off for me. Hope they taste better than Diesel fumes.

I didn't want to bury a stick after only one offering but it was very harsh and was tough to get through for me.
I'm not one to suggest "aging" NC's normally as most that I smoke have already been aged.
To answer your question, no I didn't like the taste...
I hope your experience is different than mine.

I have a can of Diesel out in the shop - not really a compelling name IMO.

I think you are right, at the very least the "harshness" I experienced should have subsided. I'm actually interested to see how they smoke now!
