I know that my thread title is a bit odd, but you'll get the idea soon enough.
Today would have been my mom's 68th birthday. She lost her battle with cancer 2 years ago this coming April 17th. I still remember the day like it was yesterday and think about her often.
So, the reason I'm posting this here is to tell you about my "ritual". As my dad, brother and I were putting together the picture collages for her visitation, both my dad and I smoked a WOAM. I ask that if you have one, you fire it up tonight and remember the loved ones and friends of yours that have passed on. I will be doing so tonight. If you don't have a WOAM, find another stick that would be fitting to toast those you've lost. Take the time and remember them and remember the good times you had with them. That's all I ask.
Thanks for reading and have a good one everyone.

Sorry about your Mom, but it's created a ritual in her honor that I'm sure your Mom would be thrilled to know about !!
Here's to all of our loved ones who have gone on to happier places!

Thanks guys. I smoked my WOAM tonight as I was grilling up brats. I thought it was appropriate as she was always cooking and was a GREAT cook. As I was there at the grill, I was thinking and telling her how much I missed her and how much I wish she was here for the kids. I though of my other family members I've lost. Both of my grandfathers, and my grandmother. They are all deeply missed, as are friends who have passed along the way.
Here's to all those that we love who have passed and may the memories of the live forever in us all.
