Lenguamor send me this cigar in a bomb and I am glad he did, because I liked it a lot. This nice maduro cigar has a light salty scent to it and feels well constructed. The cigar is slightly box pressed

I taste full, almost Cuban, leather, spicy and full. After about half an inch a woody flavor accompanies the leather with a chocolaty taste on the background. When the chocolate disappears sweetness shows up. The sweetness is replaced by pepper for the final few puffs.

The smoke is full. The burn starts crooked but it gets better with every puff. The ash started dark but turns lighter the closer I get to the turning point.

Would I buy this cigar again? Yes, I liked it

good review....have been smoking the serie R for years....even have one of their commemoritive humis that came out with a monster smoke....but i like the # 5 maduro the best...great smoke....
if you like these try the SLR serie G....i tried one about a year ago and have been smoking them a bit more....similar quality and smoke, about a buck or two cheaper per stick...

I'm smoking a La Gloria Cubana right now that I recieved in a sampler I believe its the Wavell (5.0" x 50), (non-maduro) and the band looks exactly like yours don fernando...my question is I saw the Serie R on CI and they look to have either a second red band below the regular or a larger band that has red and Serie R in the red, can you confirm?
