It started smowing like a white out here around 4pm ... 3 inches so far and still falling ....DAAAAAAAMN ...our fruit trees were budding!! :-)

There was only a light sprinkle when I left for work this morning at 7am... at 9am when they told us to go home there was ~5" & it was coming down fast. Worst part was the wind causing white-outs... Needless to say I'm not looking forward to the morning commute!

Yes they are called the White Mountains for a reason .... Yes our little town sits at 7,100 ft and we get our share of snow .... But Maaaaan the weather has been like Springtime for two weeks now ... And now we are at 5" on the ground and still falling

Here are a couple pictures of the snow, although they fail to capture the wind and blowiness

while I was taking pictures out front, I noticed a little friend huddled up by my door.

the wife was fine with it... until he escaped my clutches... :-)
