Hello, my name is Mert, and I'm a pipe newbie...

Hardcz, have you gotten in on the NST for pipe tobacco yet? It's a good place to start :-)

And to your list, I would like to add recommendations on how to pick a pipe up for fairly cheap...we are newbie's after all!

I've taken part in the NST on the other board, and have read stickies and other posts, was hoping to get more of a one on one feel. It would help two people who may not of ever spoken before build a frienship on top of everything else. Sometimes people feel stupid about posting questions or just aren't getting it. Think of it like a big brother program, the big brother will teach the little brother about life and how to accomplish various tasks and goals.... They become friends and when the little brother is grown up they still have that special bond...

I have been on the edge of the cliff looking down the slope when it comes to pipe smoking. I have just not taken that 1st step to get me going. I guess starting here is as good a place as any.

I will probably have to wait a few weeks for the paychecks to catch up. I keep looking at all the stuff at the B&M that they have. It is nice that pipesandcigars.com is where I smoke.
