General Discussion>WTB: Nasal Snuff

I'm a newbie to this, and I'd like to try it. Prices are cheap online, but I don't want to try a little, not like it, and then have an almost-full tin go to waste. Looking to spend very little money on a small sampler, if some kind B/SOTL would be kind enough to offer one?

Thanks in advance - Kegan

Let us know of your experience with this.

I've dipped or chewed from time to time, but the thought of nasal snuff, honestly, kind of makes me cringe.

I like it. I normally go for the Poschl snuff. I don't have any right now, otherwise I'd send you some. But in regards to buying a sample, tins are about $2 each. I'd just try out something and if you like it great if not you're only out about $2. No big deal.

Kegan,

I'm out of smash boxes for samples or I'd hook you up. The manufacturers below offer free samples if you email them:

Yeah, if Indian snuff is anything like those clove cigarettes I had once, I'm sure it is strong lol and tax-free in the UK? Must be nice :-)

But free is free, so we'll try it and see. Thanks folks.

Received the toque today - two small yellow packets in an international air mail envelope marked SNUFF SAMPLES. Honestly thought it was going to be a bigger package lol.

Anyway, they sent me some original I guess - smells a bit like tobacco and soap, but it's not bad.

I took a little pinch and crumbled it against my hand - they tell you to use your flap of skin between the thumb and forefinger; that's commonly called a snuffbox. First shot up the right nostril was a little big I guess. You don't snort it, you sniff it gently into the front of the nose.

Smells like tobacco, oh yes. Had one lone tear from my right eye as a result :-) didn't sting too badly, and I didn't sneeze. The left nostril was a bit smaller.

I'm retaining the faintest aroma of tobacco; I think my pinches were a little small. It seems OK though, the only thing is that my nose is dripping a little on the right side - just the membrane getting irritated I guess, nothing hurts.

For the first few minutes, I could taste it in the back of my throat, the flavor of it. I think if I took a slightly bigger, more controlled dosage, it would evenly coat everything and help the flavor stay level.

Just my :-) though. Thanks to all -

Kegan

PS - Just added a *tiny* pinch more to the left side; smells kind of woodsy to me now.
