Illusione 88 Robusto
Image
This is a Tex Cigars special!! Thanks Matt for the oppurtunity to try this llttle power house. And that's exactly what you get when you light this puppy up....power! Full bodied and spicy from the start. The Illusione 88 Robusto has a Nicaraquan Corojo wrapper with a Nicaraquan binder and filler. The draw was just a touch loose but not bad. Lot's of smoke.

The ash did not hold on very long, falling off right about a half inch. From this point through the rest of the cigar it mellowed somewhat. Not wimpy mellow but not near as harsh as from the start. Very complex flavors. Earthy, nutty and spicy. I'm digging this cigar.

Burn for the most part has been nice and even, up until I started nubbing it and then it went a little askew.

What a great cigar. I must admit, I'm one lucky guy. Matt has sent me some fantastic cigars. It does help that my pallete is not as particular as some. I tend to enjoy a wide range of flavors and different types of body. But this is a great cigar that I would recommend to anyone with any experience in the hobby. Not for beginners! A little pricey for my blood, but I would spurge on a box of these for those special occasions.

Thanks for reading.

That was a gift from Hotreds. It has been one of my "go to" accessories.
