Buddy of mine told me about this (he's on the 'caveman diet'), stupid simple recipe but so delicious!
1. Cut one strip (or two) of bacon into small strips, cook in pan until a good amount of fat has rendered off and just beginning to crisp up.
2. Peel, then grate on cheese grater (thickest grate possible) 1/2 to 1 - Sweet Potato, and add to pan with bacon and bacon grease.
3. Cook until sweet potato is cooked through and let brown, salt and pepper to taste.
I had this last night as a side with steak and a tomato salad and it was delicious! The combination sweet, salty, and smoky-bacon is hard to beat.

Yes
:-) But softer/sweeter because they are sweet potatoes and not regular potatoes, best way I can describe it.
