Picked up 6 half chicken breast at the store this morning. Also picked up some Asian sesame salad dressing with ginger and soy as a marinate/baste.

I'll light up my Traeger smoker in an hour or so and let those bad boys smoke all day at about 200*F.

Mustard potato salad to go with and perhaps a Guinness or two.

Looks like a great day to me!

Had a brisket on since 845 this morning with some John Henry's Pecan Rub and Chisolm Trail on it. Also doing a couple chickens and beef ribs for a muslim friend of mine that's never had it before. Ever try to do a Halal-B-Q? It can be done.

i'm not slow smoking but I have some Hickory in the smoker box and the filet mignons are going on soon. I'm using the leftovers of the tenderloin in a chili
