Entertainment>Remote Fighting - Happens to you?

Do you ever have to fight over the remote? Are you watching two shows at once between commericals?

I want to watch The O'Rielly Factor and Elys wants to watch Triunfo del Amor.

So far, commerical flipping has worked. What about you?

You need a dvr. Then you just argue about what show you are gonna watch. :-) But at least you get to see the whole thing.

We have a DVR and tape a lot, but there's something about "en vivo" that is just better than watching later on.

Wow! Sounds like what you really need is the power button!

She likes O'Rielly too, but he's a far cry from Maximo... :-)

I'm the opposite. I'd much rather watch it sans commercials.

I am too for my non-primetime type shows or late starts and catching up.

Seems like you could just watch a hair dryer with a looped sample of one of the grownups from the Peanuts cartoons. Win-win. :-)

My wife was watching TV once and fell asleep. Son took the other remote and switched channels from the stairs (you cannot see the stairs from where she is sitting). She woke up and changed the channel back. He switched again. Wife looked over at me. I was reading a book. She switched it back and immediately the son switched again - and she looked at me - book in two hands and no remote. She switched it - he switched it back. She asked me, "What's going on with the TV?" I shrugged, played innocent, though I knew what was going on. This went one for about 5 switchings.

... the gig was up when the boy started giggling.

Then I busted out laughing.

Then we were all laughing, though she was trying to be angry.

Funny stuff.

Peace of the Lord be with you.

I like watching only commercials, it's easier.
