I am nearly ready to break the 1000 dollar threshold and get a "prosumer" machine and was attracted to the Expobar Office Lever.
Part of the attraction is the chrome finish and I like chrome. It also looks like a serious machine and I can see it in my kitchen for many years.
I imagine the lever part will be an easy thing to figure out, but am mainly concerned I will make the common mistake of missing a better machine for about the same price.
I read great reviews on this machine, but am more believing of info I get here.
The Brazilia has has also caught my eye as has the Pasquini.

Can't go wrong with the E61 group head. It's the standard 58mm basket size, and it will be easy to find a good tamper for it.
Quick Mill also makes a similar line of machines.
The
Expobar Lever is not
really a "lever" machine. An
Olympia Cremina or the
Ponte Vecchio Lusso actually has a lever you pull on to make the shot. I believe the
Expobar's lever just turns a solenoid on and off...
