As many of you know, I am a happy Traeger owner.
They come with a 3 year warranty. (I bought mine 4 years ago.) And while my smoker functions well, it seems that the paint has started to blister and peel.

At the suggestion of a Traeger sales rep at Costco, I emailed Traeger with these and a couple of other photos. Since it was out of warranty, I asked if there was anything I could do to prevent it from worsening.
An hour and a half after sending the email, I get a
telephone call from Traeger telling me that they would send out a new drum and chimney right away. "We want your Traeger to look good".
Honestly, I thought they might make it right. But what astounded me was that they responded to my email and
called me so quickly and assured me they would replace the drum and chimney.
It feels nice to be on the good side of a customer service issue for a change.

That's awesome, I've seen a lot of great stories in Customer Service lately, glad you are one of them, if they should take care of anyone it's you, I know how much you love and use your Traeger.

It's that kind of gesture that makes people want to write a glowing review about Traeger, and in turn, creates more loyal customers.
I'd far rather hear what Peter has to say than any actor on a tv commercial.
We're almost due to replace my old stainless Jenn-air.
I will certainly look at Traeger, on Peter's recommendation.
He hasn't steered me wrong yet.
:-)
Thanks for sharing, my brother!!!
