Just had to post this (please move if this needs to be in "General Discussion"):
Tobacco Soap
Interesting idea I suppose- making soap with tobacco leaves in it.

"Newport Menthol" is not the most appealing tobacco smell I could ask for

Is this an idea you have or is this actually sold somewhere?

Nicotine is a very dangerous poison. This stuff makes me nervous.

Oxygen is one of the most corrosive substances known to man and is highly flammable. But silly me, I just keep on breathing it.

Just thinking about a poison dart recipe I remember.
Minor quibbles:
Oxygen is non flammable. I supports other thing burning. Molecular oxygen (O2) is not very corrosive, atomic oxygen is. That's what makes ozone (O3) so bad.
Air is mostly nitrogen. You wouldn't want to breath pure oxygen for long.

...and nicotine is just one small component in tobacco, yet it seems to have you disproportionately terrified.

Nothing much terrifies me any more. Except maybe being the reason some innocent person gets hurt, like running over some kid playing in the street. You're right, it takes .065 grams of nicotine to quickly kill the average person. This soap probably has less than a nicotine patch or chaw in it. I suppose most of us here built up a tolerance anyway.

Not my idea, just saw it posted online. Local coffee roaster worked with this company to make a coffee soap. I then saw that they made a tobacco soap.
