I haven't smoked in about 3 months now. Not even cigarettes(since i quit those). I smoked wednesday and thursday because of the great weather here. Now my throat is scratchy and nose stuffed up. I cant decide if im actually getting sick or if my sinuses are just irritated since i started smoking again.

I can say with absolute certainty that there is a 50% chance it is either one or the other.

If you were sitting outside, it may well be pollen; with the mild winter that most of the country had, there's a lot of it from last year still in the air.

Thanks for your insightful question.

Do you really expect a legitimate answer from others as to whether or not you are getting sick?

more or not if its possible my sinuses are irritated from the smoke. Its never happened before But, id rather blame it on smoking again from an extended break then getting sick once again.

Take some Claritin and see if that helps with your sinuses then you may have a clue if it allergies or not......just a thought

My nose will get stuffed up and my throat will get itchy when I've taken a long break, especially if it's real dry where I'm smoking, or if I go to a B&M where the ventilation sucks.
Same if I go to a bar where everyone is smoking, but it's usually just in the winter.
It clears up after a day or so.

I think you mean 100% chance it is one or the other.
:-)
Your 50% would imply there is a 50% chance it is something unknown.

I meant exactly what I posted.
100% chance you misunderstood.

87% of all statistics are made up
Therefore, you have a 1 in 9 chance of being sick
