From what I have been told by someone that lives up in that area, it happens all the time. Guess thats what happens during the winter. On the new last night they were talking about this video. The city made the comment that the owner of the SUV "Might get the damages paid for". Gotta love it.

a couple years ago, they passed a law out here that said that the mere act of recording (video or audio) a police, fire, or emergency worker constituted interference. Got tossed by the state supremes, but not before it was put to use by many embarrassed agencies.
