I had some Velveeta I needed to use up, found this recipe online and tweaked it with a bit of Frank's Hot Sauce:
1 lb. Velveeta
8 oz sour cream
1 cup ranch dressing
Cut the Velveeta into small pieces and nuke until melted. Stir in sour cream and ranch dressing. Add Frank's to taste for a bit of zing.
This is great as a switch from the salsa dip I usually make with Velveeta.
