The humidification device is fine but IMHO your $ would be better spent on beads that cigarnut sells that used to be called shilala beads. You'll thank me later...the digital reader is good..Most of us use something like this. Which can be found on cigarbid.

Michael has those hygrometers available, too. I have dozens of them, they're awesome.

I only have one hygrometer and over the years, I've nearly gotten away from using it. I have 65% Heartfelt beads (sorry Scott) and as long as I can see a clear one here and there, I know they're charged. When they all get white, I mist them until I get a half and half color change and I'm good to go. I've checked them and they're always at 65%.
