Accessory Discussion / Reviews>Aristocrat with updated circ. fans
Xoner8 01:50 PM 04-17-2010
I'm not sure how exactly to post this so hopefully it works. In gathering information here at the Asylum, I added these circulation fans to my Aristocrat M+TCH humodor. The main fans (8), 4 run with the cooling units, and 4 with the humidifiers. 4 additional fans (2 on the rear panel, and 2 on the lower shelf) Run for 1 minute every 15 minutes to help even out the RH...

If it's worth doing, it's worth over doing. :-)

Would you mind adding pics here? I don't know how many people will want to join to view them.

Not sure if that came out right... Heres a try at posting them direct to the page.

Sorry, Apparently Snap fish requires a membership to view the pics. Disreguard the link please. Sorry, I'm REAL new at this...

That's pretty sweet. That's some serious circulation, but I wouldn't be putting all of those extra holes on a cabinet like an aristocrat. How did you seal the holes?

The fans are mounted to cedar planks which cover the small holes for the wiring. Since it is a Temp controlled cabinet, it is insulated with a very thin luan type back. After running the wiring, the holes were sealed with butal caulk, and then the fan plates put into place completely sealing the holes.
