Returned my Xikar cutter (had it for about 6 years) to be sharpened and received a brand new cutter - in less then 2 weeks from Xikar - amazing. It's been awhile since I used a new cutter, I couldn't believe how sharp it was - sliced through the cigar like an hot knife through butter.
Thanks Xikar!!! Glad to see a company doing the right thing -
:-)

I had the exact same experience. Sent in a knicked up cutter for sharpening and received a brand new one just a few weeks later.
Does anybody know of a lighter manufacturer like that? I've got 3 dead Colibris and no way to fix them.

Xikar did a promo(
PORMO LINK) where if you took your colibri in and purchased a new xikar they would give you a discount.

Their customer service is great. I have sent both of mine back and they have replaced them with new ones.

Very nice! I know if I ever have an issue I can just go to my B&M and get a replacement!

Interesting {{click}} to know, there might be hope for your dead lighters yet.

I sent two of my lighters back at the same time. It took them over two months to return them to me and that was only because I called and emailed several times in an effort to speed up the process. When I called and told them it had been over three weeks since they got my lighters, the customer service rep I spoke to said that it usually takes 6-8 weeks to get them back. What is worse is I got an email from them a few days after I called, stating that my lighters were now being processed and would be returned to me in a "few days". A week later I emailed them again, informing them that I still had not received my lighters. I got an email back stating that the lighters were "awaiting postage" and that they would see what they could do about having them moved to the front of the line. Who knows how much longer it would have taken if I hadn't followed up after my initial call and email. I Finally got them on Saturday. So much for two weeks. I'm just glad they finally replaced them. Perhaps they are faster with cutters, of which I have two.

Hopefully I will be receiving my cutter back shortly, sent it out about a week ago. The spring that pops it back open broke, too many uses I suppose

They're slower than Palio but still offer excellent service. My Palio was replaced within a week. The Xikar took about 2 weeks. I'm happy with both companies.
