So i decided to expand my horizons into FSG tobaccos and try this cigar and purchased a 5 pack. I tried the FSG Farm rolled and found them strongly cuban in flavor profiles so i wanted to up the challenge and see how it holds up in this iteration. So, without further ado here we go!
Wrapper: milk chocolate with minimal flaws and few veins to speak offend triple capped which i always like
Draw: loose for my taste but not bad and very sweet on the tongue

lots of sweet tobacco mixed with chocolate, kola nuts, small amount of spice, very sweet chocolaty Nicaraguan start with a rugged undertone, coffee, faint amounts of white pepper, has a very partagas sweetness and flavor, very creamy, some cedar, lots of smoke coming off this one,

some sweet tobacco but that’s mellowed, chocolate, still has that partagas undertone of sweet spiciness, coffee, white pepper, kola nuts, wood, earthiness, a little bit of savoriness mixed with that sweetness which is quite nice, it’s rare that 2/3 through a cigar and my tongue started buzzing,

sweet tobacco, chocolate, white pepper, coffee, still has very refined flavors mixed with this rugged undertone, some wood, earthiness, still tons of smoke, tea,
Ash: was a little flaky at first but after i ashed it the first time it became pretty solid.
Finish: I think this cigar was something special. it's blended well and has these cuban flavor undertones and they all dance nicely together, it had this nice white pepper mixed with a spicy sweetness as well as that Nicaraguan chocolate profile that was very nice and my hats off to the blender. not only would i recommend this cigar but i'd say buy a box. get yourself a 5 pack and try them out and you'll see what i'm talking about. I hope you enjoyed this review and God bless you all!
on my cigars daily journal i gave this cigar a 96

Good review Jason. I leave Friday for Clermont. I really hope I can do a farm tour and pick up a few sticks to try myself.

I'm smoking my second cigar of these and it's just as special as the first. it's a masterfully blended cigar that really develops some punch after the mid-point. you mix some pepper, cayenne with some honey sweetness and it really reminds me of a cuban cigar. I smoked a cuban right before this just for a side by side comparison. it has my tongue buzzing again as well. I don't know what they're doing in Clermont county but i think something special is happening. I think the future may look good for FSG. let's hope they keep it up. God bless you!

So, i'm smoking the double Corona as my super bowl smoke because i'm a glutton for punishment. I LOVE smaller cigars so why not buy 5 of the largest you can get? This started out very nice and chocolatey with hints of pepper and spice and has just grown in intensity. I'm at about the robusto size now and just wanted to get my thoughts down on this cigar. FSG can be either hit or miss to some but there's something to this blend. It's cubanesque in it undertones. For the price it's one of the cheaper cigars with FSG. For the value you really can't beat it and it's certainly not boring. it has all the other flavors like earth and wood but the spice on this is always there and keeps the palate enticed. I would recommend you start with a robusto before going up the the double corona. It's almost a point of pride being from Florida and smoking a tobacco your state produces. I think corona cigars sells them exclusively and i say buy a 5 pack and try em out, Anyways i just wanted to get that out. God bless you and enjoy your super bowl sunday!

While I was in Clermont I called the company and asked if they allowed tours of the farm. Unfortunately they said no, only once per year for an annual event in May. I wasn't able to get to Corona Cigar prior to leaving tihe Orlando area. I might have to order some online once I am at a location for a longer stretch. Thanks again for the reviews Jason.
