Wow, I agree 100%. It's guilty until proven innocent, apparently.

I saw a report with a police official on ESPN this morning.

He said something to the effect that LT was cooperative, admitted having sex with the girl and paying her, but at this point there was no evidence that he had not caused any of her other injuries.

The "pimp" (man who delivered the girl to LT) was also arrested.

My senior year of college was about to start at FDU in Rutherford New Jersey.

I was working as a waiter at the Sheraton Meadowlands and served people like Wayne Gretzky and Joe Montana and lots of other visiting teams.

My boss asked me to leave to open up a new sports restaurant up the road and couldn't give too much info but asked me to trust him, it would be worth it. I did.

It was LT's restaurant and sports bar, the year was 1991, and trhe Giants won Superbowl 25 over the Bills when Scott Norwood went wide left.

I got to know LT fairly well and know he can't keep his pecker in his pants.

I don't think he raped anyone however.

I feel terrible for his wife, as she was one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

Unfortunately when it involves rape or sexual harrassment in the workplace it is in this country.

As bad as what they are accusing him is, I would like to wait until the smoke clears before passing judgment. Something does not sound right with this story. Lastly, if he did hire her as a prostitute, I doubt he asked for or knew she was a minor.

I used to deal with LT every day at one of my first jobs. At Miami Beach Golf Course. He was a golf member. The guy was really nice, wouldn't ask a thing from you. I can't comment on his personal life though.

Listening to LT's lawyer after his hearing did anyone else notice his wording?

"LT did not have consensual sex with anyone yesterday."

Does that mean he did have sex but did not obtain consent?

Hard to say what he's trying to say, but if the girl is under 17 she is legally unable to give consent

Easy there, Vic. It's not just the South.:-) We're not all the stereotypical sheep farmers that films portray us as.:-)

I'm not shocked at all, but I no longer have any respect for this man if all that is said is true.
Bam Bam Bigelow should've beat the SH!T out of LT when he had the chance.
RIP Bam Bam.

Good buddy of mine is former NYPD and due to his current job has quite a few ties with PD all over the country. Has already spoken to a couple of LEO involved with the case and they pretty much confirmed that the prosecuter has a slam dunk case.

They have rape kit results, DNA, the works... Granted he is innocent till proven guilty, they have a pretty solid case.

I'm shocked about this considering his past. Hmmm...knock me over with a feather!

In 2001, Taylor was convicted of possessing drug paraphernalia in New Jersey. The conviction stemmed from the September 1998 discovery in a hotel room of a butane torch and other materials commonly used to smoke crack.

In 1996 and 1997, he was arrested in South Carolina and Florida on drug charges. In those cases, he either admitted his guilt or agreed to enter a pretrial intervention program.

In 2000, he drew five years of federal probation for filing false tax returns and for tax evasion.

Because he has a history of drug use you are not surprised be is being charged with rape?

Was being sarcastic/facetious here as his past conduct and how he has handled his private life is pretty sad when you consider how much he has been blessed with in life. Drug use, rape, tax evasion is a pretty sad commentary of his choices in life.

I have no idea what he was saying either. The lawyer was pretty entertaining in court though.

A sense of entitlement and society's aversion to making our idols responsable for their actions fuels this never-ending merry-go-round. For the moment he is guilty of extremely poor judgement and putting himself in a situation like this. Makes Nolan Ryan look like a better idol IMHO.
