My b&m in Hawaii carried these, I stayed far away from them. If they are half as bad as that Makers Mark I tried they aren't worth the glass tube they are shipped in. Would be interested to hear from someone who has tried it though.

Yeah saw these at the local beer store they also have Magic Hat cigars not sure if those are infused as well. Sounds interesting to try if the price is right.

Magic hat is the krusty the clown of the beer world. There is no end to the things they will put their name on.

I am suprised they do not make hemp beer, or armpit ale
:-)
I saw these cigars before but I stay away from all things infused.

If the hops nasal snuff I've had is any indicator, they're not worth it.

I was at a beer festival last fall, one that some Famous Smoke Shop reps were at and they had these there for sell at one of their tents. I almost bit on it but something about hops and tobacco doesn't blend well for me. As much as I love beer and cigars you would like this would be a match made in heaven. I am curious I will admit, but I just don't think I would like it. Maybe someone on here will do a review of it if they happen to try it...

My brief review:
Quality construction. Good Dominican tobacco.
That's about it.
No hop flavor. No hop aroma. Nothing really "infused" about it. Occasionally I would get some sweetness and maybe a citrus/herbal note that might have been similar to Centennial. But that's a stretch. I even paired it with 3 different beers, including an IPA, Pilsner, and a
Kolsch-Smoked Oktoberfest mix mash, just to see if I could bring out the hop-ness. It paired well, but again: nothing.
Glad I had a chance to give this a go.

Was this in a tube when you got it?
Not to get off track, but whats in that cooler, a brewing setup?

Not to get off track, but whats in that cooler, a brewing setup? The cooler is a mashtun, where you steep barley grains for an hour or so in order to make wort, which is basically pre-beer tea. You then extract the liquid wort, boil it, throw in some hops, cool and add yeast to ferment. Couple weeks later, you have beer.

There is a hemp beer, made by "Nectar Ales"
I see it all the time in the stores around here, never had a desire to try it though.

Thanks for the review, Gerard. I was actually wondering about getting a few of these as novelty gifts for a few friends who are professional brewers, but I think I'll pass now.
