I received my tower of power and a Hydra LG a couple of days ago. I have the Hydra running now, the bottom of the cabinet is 75%, the top is 65%. Do you think this will level out after a week or so? Would you recommend a fan and if so, where would you put it. I have a couple of pounds of beads in my vinotemp, should I put the beads in the cabinet?

Thanks!

Pics?

From what I've read that has worked...and trust me, more people will post,

4-8 oz beads on each shelf.

It takes time for equilibrium

Fan is good idea to move around. One at top facing down.

Rh rises. But I'm not sure you want 75 at the bottom. That seems way to high.

Hope this helps get you started.

Did you season the cabinet? How long did you let it season for?

I'm in the process of seasoning it. That's why I have the Hydra set at 75%. I also have a couple of containers of distilled water in the cabinet. How long do you think I should let the hydra run at 75%. Should I set it at 70%? I plan on holding 65% after I get it seasoned.

:-)

At least 7 days. I know the waiting game sucks but the better your humi is seasoned the better it is going to work. Your profile doesn't have your location but I know for us here in the Northeast in the winter the relative humidity drops big time and a swell seasoned humi becomes even more important.
