After reading
this post on stogiereview I decided to save this 6x54 Don Pepin Garcia series JJ sublime for this date. The band is the same as the Don Pepin Garcia black and the Don Pepin Garcia blue series, only in white. The series JJ maduro also has the same band, but beige.

The wrapper is mild oily and pretty smooth with just 2 veins. The construction feels good, the predraw is fine and I taste some dry raisin and some pepper. The cigar has a bit of a musty straw smell.
Image
I taste a nice coffee flavor with a mild bitter aftertaste and soon those flavors gets company from some spicy wood and pepper. After an inch the spice and peppers disappear, just like the coffee. All that is left is a very nice wood flavor.
Image
The wood is full flavored but yet smooth and even a bit creamy. Halfway I also get a hint of nutmeg and near the end I taste more different herbs and spices.
Image
This very nice cigar lasted me for 110 minutes. The draw is great, just like the amount of smoke. The ash is firm but frayed and has a light gray color. This cigar is full flavored and medium to full bodied. The purge was epic.

Would I buy this cigar again? Hell yeah!

Well done Ferdie, be sure to email a picture to Barry at
www.acigarsmoker.com. He is donating $20 to everyone that smokes a JJ and sends in a picture today.

If I am not mistaken it's a corn cob holder.
