He is alive.
Has been ill with a flu/cold.
Busy with work.

More like let's beat the crap out of him out of hiding. Only thing is it will take a few of us to do that as he can kick my butt easily if alone. A gun will help but need to stay at least 6 ft from him as he may be able to take it out of my hands if any closer.

He heard I was recently in his neck of the woods so he went in to hiding. He probably thinks I may still be around so he hasn't shown his face yet. I bet he's waiting until he knows its safe to come out. :-)
