Being a resident of Michigan for 17 of my 23 years, I'm ecstatic to see UofM at #8, but I'm sad to see them drop quite far when Alabama crushes them in their opener. Interesting how many Big 10 teams made it, not that surprised that Penn State slipped out of the rankings.
Thoughts?

Why does Notre Dame continue to get ranked in pre-season polls and then finish with 5 losses and still get a bowl game?
:-) :-) (It's one of those knds of moods this morning)
Five SEC teams in the Top Ten...not surprised.

K-state seems high and I actually like them. It may be a few years out but KU is making big strides with Wiess.
I am going to say the sleeper is sitting at #7 in FSU this year ... but I know nothing so don't put any money on that. I am just getting excited that football season is right around the corner.
