if anyone has a garmin that needs the maps updated check out walmart. I got the 2009 maps on clearance for $45 today.

I got a nuvi 255W and I have no idea how to hook it up either. I suppose I need to buy the cord but then what?

I believe the cable you need for the Garmin is just a mini USB. If you have a digital camera the cable for that will probably work. I would check ebay or Amazon before dropping more than $10 dollars on a cable.

I just got a Nuvi 200W, and it rocks!

Also, the Mac software is much better than the Window's software.

If you have access to a Macintosh, get a copy of Garmin Road Trip.
