I fell in love with a certain Gurkha on a cold autumn night (the Master Blender to be exact). I was then told that the Master Select was it's closest counter-part and it is very similar to the Master Blender if not the same. However, this cigar exhibited the EXACT same experience as the masterblender once did... even more so than the Master Select.
Now for the review
Well, i will put it short and sweet.
I normally don't smoke cigar slowly and i am often criticized for this. I took my time with this smoke and it exhibited flavors that were more notable and easier to define and pinpoint.
The cigar burned nice and even. The cigar was also a bit more humid than i am used to but the draw was good and plentiful. The cigar started out very cedary and earthy. It then burned of a very woody and leathery distinct flavor. The cigar ended on a very spicey and leathery taste.
To me the cigar was full bodied. The smoke was very thick and entertaining. This Gurkha has quickly climbed to my second favorite of this brand. It was savory, thick, and rich.
A+ for this stick.

Hippies beware... there's alot of tree wrapped around this thing.

The composite pic is a huge upgrade from the past individual ones.
:-)
The use of the word epiphany and Gurkha in the same sentence normally leads down a different path though.
:-)
Nice review. I miss liking my Gurkhas.
