Flor de las Antillas
Size: Toro 6x52 Box Press
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Sun Grown
Binder/filler: Nicaraguan
Strength: Medium
Made by My Father Cigars
Construction: No large veins. Firm. Beautiful oily wrapper
Draw: perfect with lots of thick smoke
Burn: Had to correct a crooked burn 3 times and it tried to tunnel one time. I'm hoping this was due to the B&M being too humid.
Flavor: Started out with a sweet cream and a little wood. Very slight spice on the retro hale.
2cd 3rd: the cream is getting stronger and slightly buttery. The wood is not as strong and the spice is growing.
Final 3rd: The cream is still growing stronger and thicker. The wood is a little bitter. The spice is stronger now but still very lite compared to most blends from My Father Cigars.
Final thoughts: I loved this cigar. Not super complex but I didn't mind at all. I will have to pick up some more and see what some age does to these.
