Reviews>Non-Traditional H&H Anniversary Kake Review

So much has been written about this tobacco already, suffice to say it is fantastic and if you want a traditional review read this one here. I would like to thank Mark in CA for recommending it to me. After the first few bowls I realized three things:
first, it is amazing when smoked while sedentary; :-)
second, it is terrible smoked while walking (maybe it was the cold or maybe I was smoking it too fast); :-)
and third, this blend is like sludge metal. :-)
I attempted a proper review and all I got was the below poem because I am a noob at good tobacco and don't know what I am tasting. So enjoy my sexual, druidic, alliterative, metaphorical, poetic review of H&H's Anniversary Kake while I go smoke some more:

+++

Around the edges of the glade nude
nymphs dance, show no shame –
there are none now to watch them
perform the old pieces again and again.

An exposed rock, low to the turf,
the outside dark, deep, aged,
pitted and pocked and potent,
overpowers the center,
controls the shape of whirling women,
their hair flung forth to lift in the wind
of their own making – the still stone
squats silent in their close tussle.

These two forces – the feminine
dancing figures who know what they do
and the terrible tip of the outcrop,
tiny in relation to bedrock below,
but filling the glade, giving shape, giving order
giving stage to the performers –
the power and pleasure of the forest
the flight and the fight of flesh.

But creepingly another comes,
pierces crenellation shrubs, perceives
and, arrested, allured, alarmed,
cranes neck back and dextrously side
to see the pale hides of these hidden women,
their blinding skin more splendid against
the bold black backdrop of Precambrian rock
than they ever could be couched safely on any cushion.

I've written poetry, and I enjoyed your poem, but I find little in it that makes me think of pipe tobacco.:-)

After reading your poem, I must ask, What did you say you were smoking?

I think the problem came from writing this poem while sitting in the University Library. So many pretty girls. So many.

My buddy added a few stanzas to this poem regarding the practice of the women to lure the man out and slaughter him upon the stone. In that vein I am wholly addicted to Anniversary Kake. If I have three ounces in my Humidor, after I smoke one bowl I'm thinking to myself, "I'm almost out - I should, I should get some more." If I have ten ounces in my Humidor, like I do right now, after I smoke one bowl I'm thinking to myself, "I'm almost out - I really need to get some more." This stuff is dangerous and alluring.

To me there is this rich deep dark main flavor surrounded by these light airy flavors moving around the outer edges of my taste.

If I had known that people would have felt so strongly about Anniversary Kake, we would have charged a lot more...just kidding. I'm glad that people are enjoying it.
