Hello all.

I had one of these sitting in a humi for a few months and decided to light it up. I don't know why but it didn't do much for me - not much flavor detected by me other than tobacco. Is it just me? Should I really be committed?

Brad

I really liked the 1926 Naturals when I started "serious" cigar smoking, but as my tastes changed, the pardon Annys didn't do much for me anymore, Brad.

...but you already are committed. :-) :-)

Ive had one a while ago and had the same experience. I REALLY want to try a few more to see if my tastes have changed.

It's hard for a cigar with so much hype to live up to anyone's expectations. Are they good? sure

but for what you pay yeah, it's a bit of a let down.

The crappy part is that I have a 1926 Natural sampler on the way. Might have to put that in the WTS section. I'm finding that Tatuaje is much more to my liking and I never thought I would say that. I was a diehard Gurkhaphile in the beginning and still like the Master's Select Perfecto 1. Oh well.

i find the 26's a bit softer than the 64s, and for the money combined with taste I prefer the 64. Also this is one of the rare smokes I think i prefer a natural of over the maduro. Think because the first one I had I received in Iraq and enjoyed it over a nice cup of joe... man that was a great morning!

I would give the naturals a try BradSacramento. I find them more complex than the maduros.

I guess that won't hurt. Any size I should start with in the Nat sampler to regain my faith?

I don't think you can go wrong with any size :-)

I really like the PAM 26, haven't had one in awhile though.

I definitely prefer the Naturals to the Maduros in the 1926 line. I liked the #35 the best.

I also give the nod to the 64 over the 26.

G***ka in a post about Padron and Tatuaje? What?! Talk about fish out of water... Like bringing a knife to a nuke fight.

Edit: I have only had 1 Anniversario 26 and I thought it was superb, complex, and unique, if not a bit mild for my tastes. It was a natural.

I love the Padron 1926 Maduro #9. Try another one. I prefer the 26 to the 64 :-)
