Yes!

Thick, rich, sweet and practically perfect in cooler weather. The ultimate Christmas smoke. There is fascinating stuff in the Esoterica line but this is my idea of their flagship with burley-bound Stonehaven a close second.

Tis a fine smoke for sure - looks a bit foreboding in the tin all dark and pungent - but it smokes smooth and cool. Krumble Kake comes in second IMO and then there is Charles Fairmorn's Lancers Slices which I have not smoked but its almost all 4 stars on tobaccoreviews.com so may be worth a try someday.

Totally agree, Jerry. Gee! With your light touch and eye for good horseflesh you should be helping out over at the "Old Farts Advice" thread.

Attention newguys: it's a mindblowing smoke to introduce a really intense, sweet latakia. It is a very crumbly flake that expands a lot as you smoke it - pay attention to to an easy fill with very slight airflow restriction from the get-go. Avoid overtamping; one tamp too hard and the bowl may be plugged up. :-):-):-)

Go easy with it and enjoy the rewards. :-)

I just picked up some of this recently and have been surprised at the depth of flavor of this blend. This came highly recommended by Greg (NCRADIOMAN), and as usual it is a winner. If you haven't tried this blend, I would try it soon. :-)

Are you becomming a fulltime piper, A'arp? Hanging around with NCradioman... taking his pipe tobacco advice... noticing estate meerschaum acquisitions... it all sounds very serious.

We should have an reverse-intervention for him. :-) Give him one last, hard shove down the slope! :-)

Yeah,

I have been smoking pipe as of late. I have always liked it, but I have been getting into it more. I pulled a Meerschaum today along with some nice little Pearwood pipe I grabbed for $20. Yeah it's gettin bad......:-)
I mean I drove to the C&D factory today- how much of a bigger whore do I have to be? :-)

This is starting to get some heavy rotation now. Nummy leathery, silky smoothness with nutty overtones. Oh mama! In the meerschaum it just gushes flavor. Yay Me! :-)

It is so. Pez is just such GOOD smoke. It's like the rich dessert of the pipe tobacco world for me.

Come by. Kevin Grant moved Nash Cigar from Rocky Mount (10 minutes from my last house) to Knightdale (10 minutes from my new house). Holler if you get near Raleigh, right?
