I typically like a full bodied smoke but the other day on the golf course I was getting a little light headed and started wishing I had paid the extra money for the cart. Anyone else have this problem? I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for cigars to smoke out on the golf course on a hot day? Something I can enjoy but won't bother me with the intense heat while walking 9 holes.

For an NC I would recommend an EPC NWC!

I just golfed on Friday in 93 degree humid weather...that part sucked!

However, I had a Perdomo second that was really good and lasted between the stops for another swing. Plus, they are cheap(er) smokes and pretty tasty. It was not full bodied and that would have sucked on such a hot humid day.

I always take a handful of AF curlyheads with me. Not a bad smoke plus if you leave it on a hole its not a huge loss

I like to take a tin of Petite Corona's along with me. Just have 1 or 2 throughout your round and your all set. Pretty much whatever suits your taste.

Something you don't mind losing, because on the course it's gonna get chewed, blued and tattooed! Plus left at some random hole after either a great drive or a lousy one.

I stick with inexpensive and not too strong, for the reason the OP said. Last handicap I need is a strong cigar kicking my butt.

Always take some sugar packets with you just in case the nic sick occurs.

I generally don't smoke anything more than 5 bucks a pop, just so I don't feel bad if I screw up the wrapper and pitch it, which happens more often than not. Been going through Kelner 3x3s as they're good mindless cheapies

110 here :-)

To answer the OP question, I usually bring a ghurka, or something cheap. I also really like the Fuego 777 Originals. They are inexpensive and relatively short. I don't feel so bad when I forget them out in the rough :-)

anything churchill/double corona size you enjoy is my opinion. Most of the time I don't even pay attention to the cigar unless it has to be torched up. It doesn't have to be cheap, just focus on stuff you really like.

Once in a while you'll get that really cool "omg this is really good!" moment.

For golfing a like a Cusano M1. Cheap bundle cigar that you can pick up at any b&m, yet has a decent smoking time and is nice and creamy with a bit of complexity. Also mild enough to handout to people you're golfing with who don't normally smoke.

My golf cigar is the Padron 3000 maduro, but I recommend anything from their regular line for a round of golf. They're cheap, but still fairly tasty and not likely to get you dizzy either.
