Some of you may know these exist and some of you may be in the dark like I was until this weekend. I found a travel press this weekend:

I found this one at Starbucks for $15.00, and I saw a couple in an organic grocery store.
So far it is working well, however it keeps the coffee super hot and I have burned my tongue a few times this morning already.

I have one and it works well. I try to make my coffee first, then get ready for work. By the time Im on the road, its cooled down enough to drink.

You could always wait for the coffee to cool down a bit......Ah who am I kidding that's not what US coffee drinkers do, Burning your face off for a good cup of French press is a small price to pay
:-)...coffee.... coffee!! COFFEE!!! COFFEE!!!!!

Yah that would require too much patience. Handy little device however a bit to small for my needs.

That looks very cool. I bought my son something similar this last Christmas.

It was more expensive but it does store another cup's worth of ground coffee in the base which I thought was kind of cool.

Another idea that another BOTL pointed me to was this setup for camping which even has its own heat source

Yah that is a cool concept for camping.

Definitely not a cheap or really practical application for the office but I would have loved it when I was on a jobsite every day.

Exactly what it is. It is like a regular travel mug with the press built into the lid.

The one I grabbed was the only one I have ever seen at Starbucks and it was the last one.
:-) Good luck!
I also found a shorter one at the grocery store, but the Starbucks one seemed nicer.

Ah okay cool; that's a good point. I didn't realize it was also a travel mug. I guess i didn't look at the photo close enough.
