Here we go. Might I add that up to now I have smoked about 6 of these sticks, so I figured now would be the time to write my thoughts about them.

Rocky Patel - Cameroon Especial Toro (6x52)

Taste: When smoking, you get nice constant flavors such as sweetness, nuttyness, honey and earthiness, a typical profile of many Cameroons. I like it a lot, and wish that I would not have to mention what is next, but it is essential. The cigar is not overly complex, quite one dimensional. At about 2.5 inches and less of the cigar left, the flavors turn really harsh and bad. The best explanation is like smoking burned tissue paper or whatever. It is unbearable. Honestly, what a waste coming from Rocky Patel. (1.5/4)

Body: These are by far the lightest cigars I have ever smoked. I get a bigger buzz inhaling air then smoking these things. I have not tried inhaling these (for obvious reasons), but I bet they would be lighter than cigarettes. Honestly, I am not impressed. On the flavor side, the flavor is nice and you get quite a substantial amount with each puff, but the overall lightness of the cigar brings it down, leaving each puff unsatisfactory at most. (0.5/3)

Construction/Burn: It has a good construction. There are no soft spots, or any cosmetic issues with the wrapper. Everything seems nicely packed. On the construction side, I have nothing bad to say. The burn on these is also good. A nice 6 inch calls for ashing a maximum of 4 times and the ashes hold on well. Therefore, the construction for these I would say is flawless. However, from my previous experiences with the flavor and body, a good construction and burn will not change my mind. (2/2)

Price: Pretty cheap cigars. A 20-pack go for approximately 45$. Some people would argue that I should not complain with such a low budget cigar. However, I beg to differ. My experiences with this stick do not even justify a 10 dollar for a pack of 20. Simply money wasted. I am sure there are thousands of budget Cameroon cigars out there for the same price, or just a little higher. (I liked Rocky Patel's Indian Tabac Cameroon Legends way better). (0.25/1)

Final Thoughts

For the love of god, get these things away from me. I had to literally smoke these because I had to finish them and I felt bad for my loss of money. Would I recommend them? No, unless I am trying to prank you. Stay away from these.

Overall Score - 4.5/10 (I felt bad giving it worse, I am sure it deserved less)

My next cigar that I will be reviewing is the Oliva Series G Maduro Torpedo (6x52). Stay tuned for that.

Here is a picture of the cigar.

After smoking six of these, I was expecting to read a more glowing review. :-)

You smoked 6 of them? Are you a masochist? :-)

I've smoked 1 of these and a couple of the Corojo Especiale. They need quite a bit of time in the humidor. Even then though, there are better cigars for the same (or less) money.

Yeah, many would too. Like I mentioned, I smoked them mostly to get rid of them, especially on weekday nights after school.

Thanks for the review. Ill make sure to stay away from these.

I am not a huge fan of Rockys cigars but I will smoke some from time to time and am usually left feeling that I could take or leave them.
