My local B&M owner received 25 LFD Culebras on Friday. The box says"Lancero Culebra"and consists of one maduro and one ligero and one other cigar twisted into a Culebra. He was told that there were 100 boxes made and he got 25.I have seen reference to some made last year when I searched them, does anyone know if these are going to be widely sold or limited? The local rep said they were special made for a client and would not be avaliable after they were gone, but I have my doubts about LFD only making 100 boxes,so please let me know if I should hurry over and spend $$$ to get a few .....Garbandz

HK3 and I smoked one of these. I wasn't impressed. I thought it was a bland, flat tasting cigar.

Not great, but not terrible. Had a very odd taste. Not sure which one I smoked but the maduro was smoked by godofgravity (Jon).

New info tells me these are from a batch of 100 coffins made exclusively for a shop in Georgia, 50 of which were delivered. These are not the gorda culebras which were sold in other shops, and consist of 3 different lanceros in culebra form. I will have pics soon......

I've seen these a few times, but not in person. Just on line. How does one go about smoking this thing. Do you light up all three, or do you separate them and smoke on at a time?
Seems kind of gimmicky to me.

You seperate and smoke them one at a time, or with friends. There are a bunch of different stories about how this style was developed and why, but I always liked the one where these were originally cigars that the rollers themselves would smoke, and since they were allowed 3 sticks a day, they would twist them together and put them in thier pocket to take home for later.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. That's an interesting story. Must look a bit weird when smoking one.
