I have temp storage for my ccs as my cooler isn't ready yet. Should I take the humidification out of the container to freeze them?

I would, as the freezing may damage the humidification device.

I would not freeze a humidifier...

Box, cab, cigars, sure. Humidifer, not necessary, maybe even a bad idea in some cases.

Follow these instructions

Carefully note how to package the cigars for freezing.

Actually, carefully note the whole procedure. Getting them cold won't do it.
You will need to REALLY, deeply freeze em and for a while.

That is, IF you buy into freezing. :-)

Sorry :-)
