½ C. Mayo
¼ C. Lemon juice
1 T. Sugar
1 t. Mustard powder
½ t. Celery seed
Kosher salt & fresh cracked black pepper to taste.
1 Large celery root, peeled & shredded
1 Medium red onion, peeled & shredded
1/2 C. brined capers
Whisk mayo, lemon juice, sugar, mustard powder and celery seed together in a large mixing bowl, season to taste.
Add celery root, onion and capers and toss to coat, chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
