I had a tooth pulled (not a wisdom tooth) and was told to wait to smoke for at least a week, preferably two. I waited four days :-).. Didn't have any issues.

It is all up to how you are personally doing. If they are healing up then start slow, but everyone is right about dry sockets, I have seen people who are MISERABLE because of the dry sockets.
