We've got a local dive that has some that my wife absolutely loves. In season, they also sell 'em on the half-shell for $5 a dozen.

Wednesday night at Peasant Cookery in Winnipeg - a "buck a shuck" $1 each for fresh oysters. (Canadian dollars)

One caveat: Fresh seafood in Winnipeg is of course a relative term.
