what do you guys think of my new cigar holder?

There are 3 main parts. The clamp, the flexible arm, and the cigar holder.

The clamp attaches to just about anything. I am using a plastic clamp right now, but might switch to metal.

The arm is flexible, so you can flex the holder into any position. This is better than other cigar holders because the holder can clamp onto vertical, horizontal, or any angled surface, and your cigar can remain upright.

the holder itself is just a simple cigar tube cap. My problem with most cigar holder clamps is it requires two hands to release your cigar. With this holder, you just place your cigar in the "cap"

I am shooting for a retail price of $15

Pretty interesting. Might end up shooting you a PM.

Well, I would worry about the cleanliness of the inside of the "cup" portion after a bit. Only other potential issue is the cigar could fall out a lot easier than , say, the cigar minder. But I use the cigar minder while out fishing/camping/etc. And it sees a great deal of abuse, and has held onto the cigar in rather high wind gusts. Is this more for something for around the house/yard?

I like the idea of incorporating flexibility into the holder, but the only place I use cigar holders is on the golf course--on the golf cart to be precise--and it looks to me like the cigar would just bounce out of that. Looks cool, but I don't have an application for it.

i was looking for an alternative to the clamp type holders. the clamps require 2 hands, one to open the clamp, the other to grab the cigar. it might not be perfect , but is an alternative.

and I am also looking into getting a clamp that will attach to the flexible arm.

I think it's pretty cool. I can't see where I'd use it, but I can see where others will.

Ron, how about a tapered holder, like a funnel type, that would fit a wider variety of sticks and maybe prevent a drop in windy/bumpy conditions. Just a thought.
