Anyone here have any personal experience using Gotham to purchase clear havanas? Those guys seem to know their business. I guess when buying these 20s-50s stocks you really don't know about previous storage conditions or the true condition of your purchase until you receive it. I would like to get a handful to share with friends that enjoy good smokes. I'd also like to have some to sit on just because I like vintage things and I like cigars. I guess it's just a crapshoot and the best you can do is judge by the pictures. I guess another good idea would be to email them the specifics of any you'd like to buy. Hopefully they could provide a backstory.

I have bought from Gotham without issues but like you said,the cigars are still a crapshoot.
