General Discussion>Went to my 3 yo son's class today

My son attends an early childhood development center, which focuses on those with special needs. He has autism, but appears to be on the higher functioning scale and it seems that most of the 13 other classmates have autism.

The parents were all invited in today to make Christmas ornaments and it is quite impressive at what kind of special people there are in this world that want to help kids with special needs like this.

That sounds great Duane; glad you got to see him in action! I can't wait until my 2 year old is old enough to have parent's day at school - I plan to embarrass him completely!

It's always heartwarming when we as parents get to visit our children at school for Christmas functions (when they're young). Glad to see there are so many people who care.:-)
