So some excitement as we downsize to a loft. (Empty nesters now).
Put our current place on the market last week, and she went in less than 24hrs.

Looking forward to my new wine, scotch and cigar vault! (Literally - old bank style walk-in vault - pictures to follow when we're in!)

Hoping so - married to the same gal for 30 years this December. Having a blast, and a whole new era now....

Yep - currently being professionally restored (including tumblers and lock). Original door from Winnipeg Safe Works circa 1910! New hinge finials in a friends CNC machine. (there was only one original surviving)

Challenging installation of cellar - 2x 8" holes neede to be drilled in the ceiling for the cooling/ humidification. Ceiling was 18" thick!

Interesting story on the door. I met the guy who is restoring it in our local cigar lounge! We got chatting and - well it turns out he is quite the artisan.
Go figure- the people you meet over a cigar!
