ahc4353 07:23 AM 02-03-2010
Looking for an inexpensive drug store tobacco that's med body. No flavored stuff like cherry please.

If this has been discussed please link me. Searching on my phone is a PITA.

Thanks in advance.

Only problem is that in the age of tobacco nazis, even these have become hard to find. Good luck in your search.

This is true. My local CVS is the only drug store that still has any on the shelves.

There are a couple dusty tins on the bottom shelf behind a counter at my local rite aid as well

Prince Albert, Prince Albert Choice Blend, Carter Hall, Sir Walter Raliegh (if you can't find 'em locally, give Lil Brown a try).

BTW, Al, if you want to break a "new" pipe in, Carter Hall is great - it's my first choice. PA works very good, as well. These are excellent burley mixtures, considering their price! They both have a very good flavor and burn clean! :-)

Have fun, Al!

Can you guys get Brigham blends down there? I like the Muskoka Mixture and King Street.

Carter Hall is good, and an excellent break in tobacco, but I seem to be especially sensitive to the nicotine in burleys, I always feel sick after CH
