The Oliva Serie V Maduro in robusto.
Size:5x52
Band:8/10 it is a nice design, and not stuck to the cigar
Preliminary observations: smooth, slightly oily wrapper. Nice even pack. Aromas of chocolate with a slight pepper. Pepper with a hint of something I cannot identify on the dry puff. The draw is perfect.
Body: medium to full
Flavors:8.5/10 initial light gives a full body blast of pepper, with overtones of burning leaves, leather, hay,and a freshly sawn wood. 3/4 inch in, the hay and leather dominate, with a hint of coffee, coffee and pepper on the finish. Down to medium body. Nuttiness appears halfway through. 2/3 through, coffee dominates with a bit of wood, the nuttiness dried down at the end. I smoked it until 3/8ths inch remained. And I signed the $#&% out of my fingertips doing so. Burn time was an hour and a half
Construction:8/10 burn was a bit uneven and required a couple touch ups. Ash held on to the halfway point.
Overall a pretty good cigar. I will be buying more of them.
