Coffee Discussion>how low would u go for a cup

I can go without. I do not like coffee house blends, they seem to be rather crappy. I think Starbucks, and their competitors like Coffee Bean, are the worst, especially for the price. Fresh roasted from my own kitchen or from friends is the only coffee I drink now.

Yes - Lizard Lick (unincorporated, Wake County) is east of Raleigh and north of Wendell. Come by or we'll meet in SC for a stogie and a coffee.
Hey Moo,,,I used to live in Raleigh/Durham for awhile but never heard of your area. The wife and I plan to take the Smokey Mountain trip this summer,,June maybe. I did this on a smaller bike years ago and it was amazing. Would love to meet up with ya sometime for a smoke and coffee.

I generally wait until I can find a decent cup. But I stay away from Starbucks, simply because all their coffee has the same "burnt" taste to it.

I like your stove Mr Moo! I think it is time for me to get a new one that is a 1 piece. Is it white gas or propane?

Always travel with my stove and moka pot. I couldn't do a long drive with out it. Stopping in a green beautiful place and making a fresh cup of great coffee beats out a crowded truck stop and awful coffee any day and it usually takes less time to get.

Looks like an MSR pocket rocket. It does fit in your pocket, uses isobutane, and gets hot as hell in about 1.2 seconds.
